Why POWER & EDGE
Simply put, if you can’t skate you can’t play the game. Skating skills (which build “power and edge”) make the difference between every level of athlete from mites to bantams to collegiate athletes.
Skating is at the very core of skill development in hockey. Skating ability determines the ability threshold for puck handling, passing, body contact and shooting.
It is important that young players focus on learning the proper skating fundamentals, and that skating is continually worked on as a player progresses.*
We believe the sooner athletes start developing the proper skating fundamentals the greater their skill development will be.
Let’s build these fundamentals together at our PRESEASON CAMP!
What Our Camp Offers
Our camp is built for athletes from Mites through High School who want to take their skating to the next level! On-ice sessions will focus on specific skill topics such as edges, stride, transitions, and more.
Each group will skate two of the three camp days and take part in a balanced mix of on-ice and off-ice training. Off-ice classes may include movement, strength, and mindset sessions designed to complement the on-ice work.
This is an amazing opportunity to brush up on skating skills, sharpen edges, and learn new techniques before heading into tryouts. Athletes will leave camp more confident and prepared to stand out on the ice this season.

Coach Mallory Olson is one of the most professional and knowledgeable coaches out there when it comes to skating mechanics.
“Coach Mallory Olson is one of the most professional and knowledgeable coaches out there when it comes to skating mechanics. Not only do we feel she brings a wonderful knowledge of skating skills and drills, but her connection with the kids creates a positive and motivational atmosphere both on and off the ice…”
