As the game continues to evolve, the demands placed on athletes continue to increase. We specialize in hockey-specific skating development that helps athletes strengthen their skating, expand their skill set, and continue progressing in a competitive game.
While skating remains our primary focus, we also believe athletics should help build confidence, resilience, work ethic, and a genuine enjoyment of the sport. Our goal is not simply to develop stronger skaters, but to support the growth of well-rounded athletes both on and off the ice.
WHO WE ARE
Founded in 2020, Oka Powerskating was built from a passion for skating development and a belief that every athlete deserves access to high-quality coaching.
Drawing from an extensive background in skating skills and athlete development, Oka Powerskating was created to provide hockey athletes with a more personalized training experience. Our small-group coaching model allows athletes to receive meaningful feedback, individualized attention, and focused development in a positive and challenging environment.
Today, we work with hockey athletes across a wide range of ages and competitive levels, helping them develop the skating skills needed to compete with confidence in an increasingly demanding game. While skating remains our primary focus, we believe the lessons learned through athletics extend beyond the ice, helping athletes build resilience, work ethic, confidence, and character, leading to success on and off the ice.
