Adults can have fun too... join our Adult Class!
After a handful of requests, we are happy to finally put on our own Adult Class! This class is first and foremost, fun, but also a great place to learn the basics of skating and build your confidence on the ice.
So what are the basics? Think.. "survival mode" - what do you need to be able to do to be safe on the ice? Stand up, get up, fall 'safely', STOP, move, turn, find your balance.
Perhaps you want to try something new, brush up your skill or maybe you just want to feel comfortable enough to skate with your kiddos one day - join us and make some memories with us!
Adults 18+ who have little to no experience in skates (basic skills will be taught).
Sundays, January 10th through February 14th. 30 minute sessions, session times vary (please see schedule below).
Pete Conlin Arena, Williston ND
Everyone needs their own skates (hockey or figure skates) and helmet. Yes, we strongly encourage and highly recommend helmets.
REGISTRATION OPENS ON TUESDAY, DEC. 22ND!
Limited spots are available.
Upon closing of registration, all will receive an information packet with further detail.
Registration closes on Wednesday, Jan. 5th @ 11:59PM.
What kind of skates are allowed?
Hockey and figure skates are both welcome. It doesn't matter - learning the basics will be taught the same for both kinds of skates!
Do I really need a helmet?
ABSOLUTELY! We promise, if you fall and get a concussion you will not enjoy it. Concussions are serious and if wearing a helmet saves you the pain and recovery time, we think it's pretty smart to wear one (of course, we don't want you to fall, but let's be safe)!
Registrations are final. Missed sessions due to sickness, out of town, or covid related do constitute a refund.
Should the head coach test positive for Covid, refunds will be issued for any cancelled sessions.
Masks are required. Coaches will also wear a mask.
Coaches will do their best to maintain space however there will be times we must help participants and guide them.
If you prefer to avoid this - aren't comfortable with this - please reach out and speak with Mallory before the class begins (701-351-6946).
